YETL - A terrible movie starring Barbara Streisand

Hey everyone!

This week has been super wild! Transfers were on Tuesday and I was scheduled for an appointment to meet with President Fenn. I met with him and he has changed my assignment. I am no longer a District leader in Help Services on the 3rd floor of the FHL. My new assignment is to be a Young Elder Training Leader. So my new assignment is I help run out in house MTC for the missionaries who enter the mission, including the new Young Elders, Senior Full Time Missionaries, and Church Service Missionaries. I work in the mission office on the 3rd floor of the JSMB, which is pretty nice.

To explain the subject line, President Fenn hates acronyms, so he never calls anyone a DL, or an AP. But he is OK with calling the Young Elder Training Leaders (what I am) the YETLs. Then he said that YETL sounds like a terrible movie staring Barbara Streisand.

I have also been able to go to the gym 4 times this last week, which is something that I am going to continue to do so I can lose some more weight.

Last night at the gym I wanted to see how in shape my legs actually were, so at the end of the hour and a half workout, I went to the leg press machine, and I was able to max the machine out at 470 lbs. it felt super good.

This week has been rather long, but for the most part it has been rather uneventful. But that’s OK.

I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have been given to serve a mission here, and now, and to serve with the people that I have been called to serve with. The lord is in this work. I know this because I have felt his hand and seen his hand in my life and in the lives of the missionaries around me.
