Happy New Year!

Hey everyone!

Sorry that this week emails are today and not yesterday; life happens. I went to the gym instead of emailing. Pretty good use of my time, in my opinion. 

So this week has been pretty crazy. First off, Happy New Year! 2019 is in full swing, and is already going very slowly. The only really good thing that has happened, is that on the 1st, I went on another hike with Elder Clark, and this time with Elder Walker, and Elder Allison, my trainer. It was a really good hike. We went up the Ensign Peak trail, but instead of going up to the peak, we took a right in the trail, and headed up the mountain farther. It was tons of fun. 

I took the opportunity of setting some new goals with the new year, and have been pretty happy that I have already seen positive change in my day to day from those things I am working on.

At the end of the day on new years, we watched the old Ben Hur. It was tons of fun, and I forgot how much I enjoyed it.

Then on Thursday (?) of this week, I had a friend show up here at the FHL, and we talked and caught up. I hadn't seen him for about a year, and it was really nice. He was in Savior of the World and currently looks like Porter Rockwell (Love you Dave!)

Anyways, there isn't anything else to talk about other than I am doing pretty all right.
