Hello World!
This week has been really..... different. Some stuff went down between my companion and another elder on the mission, so most of my time the last 5 days or so has been trying to help solve the issues going on, and making sure that all the elders involved are doing ok. Everything is a ton better today, as it was all cleared up and finalized as of yesterday.
But that is enough of that. To go back in time, Saturday night my companion and I, along with the Assistants, went to see the Tabernacle Choir's Christmas Concert. IT. WAS. AMAZING! Kristin Chenoweth was absolutely charming, and was so much fun. The music was amazing, as was all of the rest of the performance.
Sunday Night we had a mission dinner and fireside. The dinner was the chili that I had cooked the pork for. We had 4 different kinds, and one (the best one in my opinion) was a chili that had beef, pork, buffalo (provided by president Fenn (from the store or something)) and elk meat (provided by me, via my family). It was tons of fun, and all of it tasted really good.
The rest of the week has flown by because of the thing that happened, and even transfers flew by. Here are the results concerning me: I am still a district leader in Help Services on the 3rd Floor of the Family History Library. My companion is still Elder Skaggs. I have one new member of my district, who was a former district leader in the same zone,p. It has been super nice to have someone with experience working with me.
Life is good. I am super happy to be a missionary during Christmas, on Temple Square! It is such an interesting, and wonderful feeling and experience. I love it.
Hope that everything has been going well this week, and that you all enjoy the holiday.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
Elder Bartholomew
